Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will compete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

the story of the willow tree

Once upon a time there lived two farmers, Tom and Harry, who worked on the same farm, and that fateful day, it so happened that nothing went right. The tractors refused to work, it started to rain and they could not collect their harvest. Soon, it was time to go home. Unfortunately for farmer Tom, his car broke down, and he could not get home. So, farmer Harry suggested that he would send tom home, after dinner at harry's house.

So Harry drove the both of them home. upon reaching Harry's house, they both got out of the car, and outside of Harry's house, there stood this huge willow tree. before entering, Harry went over to the tree, closed his eyes and touched it. He smiled. And they both went in for dinner. Harry greeted his with a huge smile and hugged and kissed them, feeling enourmously happy despite his terrible day at work. Tom was amazed. After dinner, Harry sent Tom home. Before Tom got out of the car, he couldnt help but ask about how Harry could feel so happy when everything that could go wrong did go wrong at work today, and what was up with that willow tree anyway?

Harry replied, " well Tom? To you, that willow tree might just be an ordinary willow tree, but to me, that willow tree is my worry tree. After work i would touch that willow tree and leave all my worries and anxieties behind before bringing it into my house, where it should be a happy place. I dont want my wife and kids to worry along with me. and the next day before i go to work, i will pick them up again from my tree, but strangely by then, most of them have already disappeared. And then i am happy again."

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer or petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." philippians 4:6-7

a shout of praise.
